went to 4 stores this weekend in GTA, all $50 cards have been swept clean. Wasn't sure if 2x25$ would work so didn't purchase any. Hopefully you guys have better luck finding them.

Thanks for posting. I found variable load cards. Given that there are essentially no terms I don’t even know if this offer can be claimed more than once per account.

I think the safest way to do this is to purchase each $50 gift card in a single transaction and repeat. I don’t have the patience for this so I loaded a handful with $100 each and paid in a single transaction. If it works I will know for next time and go all out. Unfortunately points don’t post until Nov 22 so we won’t know what works until the promotion is over.

I got a few reloadable ones and put $50 on each, and paid for them all in 1 transaction. I kept all receipts. Fingers crossed come Nov 22.

Hey Tshi the stores have more then displayed. I was lucky enough to know a girl that works at the casino and SDM and while she was working at SDM I asked her if she find me some more. She said how many and I said all of them :D She came back with few dozen packages . There is 10 per package so I actually made her put some back. Good timing as I did not want to actually pay for a boat with my moneys and will use optimum points instead.

I might have to ask what they have in the back next time richhhh.

Did you load $100 on each? Or $50? Pay in a single transaction? Have any guesses about what the odds are of us getting all the points we hope?

I suppose there isn’t much downside risk to buying lots even if we the points don’t materialize. The gift cards are a minor inconvenience to use. Also, I read on the RFD forum that stores only get half the commission when redeeming them but I can live with that.

I paid in transactions of $500 ( 10 cards loaded $50 each) Happy medium i guess. I can live with the results whatever they may be. Seeing how I was allowed to use credit card if I were to get zero optimum points Still better for me at the mom and pop stores. With that said I do not bring these stupid OLG cards to stores that efficiently run hundreds of 5 dollar tickets for me with a smile. These annoying dumb ass cards are for nights like tonight where i have a dozen $100 prop cards which I will give to mom and pop stores I frequent little. A quick transaction which I use to build relationships.
Do I think we will get full value? No . Your best chance is separate transactions of $50 and even that is questionable. Lots of hope for full value tho. Hopefully no human input with the reward transfer.

I will set my odds of full value ( every $50 regardless of how it was purchased receives 10000 optimum points )

Full value yes: +166
Full value no : -166

Anyone having issues with these cards? Sometime they work. Sometimes the cards do not scan. Other times the card scans /pin is enter by cashier and the card is verified active and redemption amount is entered but then a cannot process ticket prints that says contact OLG.

I have only used a small number that have worked as expected. I read on the RFD forum that there was a problem at OLG affecting these cards on Nov. 4 that was thought to be resolved by Nov. 5.
