Do you guys submit your ticket's to gas station's in order to take advantage of gaining $.01 cashback for every dollar spent?

I have heard of the Petro offer but I do not have a Petro Canada close by. If I did I would probably take advantage of it. Just mom and pop variety stores and a macs milk for me.

At last glance I was over 410,000 Petro Points. And that's with only a little over a year of collecting. They also gave me a card for 5 cents per liter off gas, which has surely saved me well over $100 in the last year. Suffice to say, when I moved to Halifax, proximity to a Petro Canada was a legitimate concern when choosing my new residence. ;)

If you link your caa membership to your petro card you get more points. I believe a extra 300 points per 100$. Like mcguire said you also get 5 cents of per litre. How that works is 1 litre with 5 cents off per 1$ spent. If you link a petro credit card you get a additional 2 cents off per litre. I am pretty lucky as I have three petro's close by with a great relationships pretty much with all workers at all stores.
I could stop playing proline today and would get 5 cents off a litre for the rest of my life and I will be using 1.5 million petro points to buy 1500$ in itravel2000 dollars shortly. These points are a added perk thats for sure :)

With gas prices going down, see if you can get a cash back credit card and *triple-dip* :)

Use said credit card to buy sports lotteries and

1. Get some cash back after a certain amount is spent, in addition to your other usage like groceries etc, obviously.

2. Collect Petro Points Rewards that you can redeem/exchange for a lot of good stuff.

3. Get 5 cents off your gas when you link the Fuel Saving Plus card to your Petro Points card, like McGuire and rich alluded to

No worry pedge, some credit cards will actually give you more than 1% cash back but there are restrictions/fees to be aware of.

Check out this handy page for more info and go to town, my friend! :D

In case you guys didn't know Esso is giving 5x points for lottery purchase until Jan, perfect for the busiest time of NHL/NFL. I've been diverting a lot of my purchase to Esso from PC.
