Amazon has a deal right now, refill 100, get 7.5 discount. Too bad they don't sell lotto but in any case it could be good for holiday gift shopping.

Alternatively right now in ON there's deal at Shell, purchase $50 amazon/sportcheck/xbox gift card and get 20 bonus air miles (so 25 miles total), but it only works out to 5.26% (excluding your credit card points). It's good if you purchase at sportcheck

Thanks for posting that Red . Reading the original posters posts on redflags gave me flashbacks of a very stressful time .Some of the things mentioned about dealing with RBC after the letter were identical to mine . RBC has this down to a science. They know you can do nothing. All points of conversation to one RBC legal dickhead and everyone else (branch managers etc) in the dark. I had to wait several business days to talk to this legal dickhead as everyone else said they are unable to discuss this and by that time the letter indicated my one mortgage that was supposed to renew was terminated and I had not even giving the chance to discus this ( keep in mind I was still thinking RBC may have made a error somewhere and this could be reversed)
He mentions at the end that altho RBC had a right to close his accounts that they are required by law to open account to anyone with proper identification and if they denied they are required to give a reason. I knew this already and remember telling my wife I would do this (I was still angry at the time) Would it give me a answer? Nah probably not but kinda funny . The wife does not share the humor with me . This experience caused her stress as well, she was still welcome at RBC but she received a different letter about terminating accounts that were jointly owned with me.I remember a paralegal humorously mentioning that the letters clearly indicate that RBC clearly has a problem with me and not so much my wife.

I have some Esso points left over, so what’s the best way to redeem them? Gift cards?

Also, a few Mobil shops are opening up now, so will they take only Mobil gift cards, or will Esso cards work there too?

Red :)

If I remember correctly redeeming for $20 lotto tickets provide best value from Esso but my experiences lead me to redeem for gas for simplicity . They do not take well to multiple redemption's also Esso rewards are very minimal half a percent of every dollar spent or something which means the value of using Esso is in the credit card or gift cards used there.

Thanks that's good to know. I find the Mobil stations in my city are usually bit cheaper for gas, and it's convenient to know they accept esso GC for lotto.
