I should have a new version of ParlayMaker ready by next week which handles these correctly.
Until then I've created a workaround which will all you to calculate NHL Pointspread parlays.
On ParlayMaker open a new pointspread tab and for sport select 'Mlb'. For now the program will see Nhl games as the same thing and will mix them into the page.
If you use the 'Generate Play List' feature just remember to remove the any actual baseball games from the list.
