Hopefully the negative press will force them to improve their processes but I very much doubt it, tshi.

I have a fair number of Props tickets that I mailed to the Prize Centre around Xmas last year and I have yet to see a cheque coming back. I know some other fellas are in the same boat.

Like kappa said in the other thread, OLG has a stranglehold on the market, being the only sportsbook with a physical presence and a solid network of retailers and terminals, but they are fumbling the ball badly here. The ProLine Points program was a good incentive but they thoroughly misjudged the demand. The points have been devalued so much, they are barely worth anything now.

I can't wait to see how they will screw up the new limit, comes April 1st. I'll bring the popcorn!

Hey Bang cashing retail tickets online has had cheques at my door in like 48 hours. No scanning inconvenience either just picture from my phone good enough.
Has anyone been challenged by OLG for multi accounting online? I just cant do it to them but it is tempting...

By cashing tickets online do you mean >$1000 Rich?

I am limited at Proline+ and haven’t gone back.

Part of me wonders if there is more to the story about withdrawals taking so long. I imagine the individuals in the CBC article are not multi accounting as they would never have agreed to a news article if they were. But if the news piece is accurate and players could get a $500 bonus for wagering $50 I could see how Proline+ could have been inundated with accounts bearding in. Now they have likely lost a lot and need pour through the new sign ups all requesting withdrawals.

Hey rich, if you are referring to more than 1 online (ProLine+) account with OLG, I believe red has done that (plus quite a few other fellas, in passing online convos).

You are right ProLine+ account is usually restricted with OLG, if you win too much, so other folks have had to open additional accounts to take advantage of bonuses, promos and weak lines. It is what it is.

Biff I am referring to tickets >$1k. The tickets are processed fast and cheque to door right away.
Ya Bang I am also restricted to betting cents at proline+ but have yet to even sign the “wife” up for a account.

All prize claims >$10k require the physical ticket to be couriered to OLG by pre-paid Purolator. Also, they send an Indemnity and Release form for e-signature via DocuSign.
