Red you spent like 10 mins answering and did not even touch the subject

Earlier this year OLG posted incorrect results and said previous scaned losing tickets may be winners. This and couple other things made me save my tickets to be sure I never toss winners from A OLG mess up like this. The tickets have been stored in boxes. There is alot of them . I could tell you how many but it would not resister . I think when this is all over the first thing I am going to do is build a couch with my old proline tickets, not a chair but a big fucking couch, Not some little couch either a massive couch completely made from proline tickets .
Richhh, you're right! I didn't reply correctly as I should as it was a late night comment.
I really need to avoid doing this, especially when in the wrong frame of mind lol.

Ok Bang I will let you in my head but this whole thing is causing me anxiety so listen at your own risk   I certainly wont be getting one of those jobs things altho I hear places are hiring.

To be honest stale line proline betting has not really been a busy habit for me last couple years. Less then 3% percent of my parlay only betting. For that little amount wager I had a -27% return last year and a +89% return so far this year ( my year starts in September) . Its not that I do not play them as I do but I just do not grind little edges leaving me for most part play less on that front. I fear the OLG props will be gone and that itself I care about alot but even if that itself is completely gone does not leave my parlay betting over because I still wager in Canada beyond OLG although those angles are shrinking as well. There is still Pinnacle sports/fantasy options but most importantly the unknown . The unknown could be proline/props is not dead. It could be even better then before with some new offerings where the house is ALLWAYS profitably like poker or possibly Casinos and new sport betting sites choosing to not limit and offer new products and maybe just maybe OLG plans falls flat on its face and nothing changes. Everything is beatable just a matter if its worth it. Specialize in a market that gives enough volume & ROI and move on to the next when it becomes over exposed and its taking away/rinse @ repeat . We have been spoiled for a very long time hopefully it continues just pray for one more decade .

Bang, I guess I intend to delve into a hybrid of both proline+ and the new proline. As per my previous posts, my suspicion is that the proline change at the stores will be similar to the Atlantic lottery so there will be some opportunities to subsist on.

OLG has been contacting stores with brief discussions about getting ready for new slips. Due to the recent harassment of limits pretty sure any of my stores owners are to afraid to carry a conversation about sports betting with them. If someone owns a store here or talks to someone that does try directly asking them are props slips done when this all roles out. Stay off the props subject itself as that would require all parties to understand the difference between props and props cards. I just wanna know are props cards staying or not. My guess is they are gone.
rich, I talked to the convenience store owner I usually play tickets with today and he confirms he has only received 2 new slips so far, 1 for Pools and 1 for ProLine, as shown from one of kappa's post in the beginning of this thread.

He doesn't know if he will receive new Props slips or if the existing Props slips will continue to work but will let me know as soon as he hears something.

I guess we will find out where things stand after the Super Bowl (February 13). There will be an immediate impact on NBA Props and NHL Props with MLB Props coming up in 3 months.

rich and lads: My convenience store owner guy told me OLG called him today and here is a brief summary of what I gleaned

- Changes will come in mid-February, presumably after the Big Game (Super Bowl on February 13th)

- The existing PointSpread and Props slips will go away. PointSpread will be folded into the new ProLine slip and Props future is uncertain e.g. not sure if they will offer it online (ProLine+ or another platform) and under what format (single Props wagering or parlay like the current system)

- ProLine game list will only be available from the website, no longer printable from the terminal.

Those are what I got from today conversation. Let me know if you guys hear anything else.

that's bad news Bang, retailers must be hard hit too. With inflation and decreasing revenue from lotto, a bunch of family stores will probably fold.

Yes that is another perspective that has not been discussed too much, probably because it does not impact us directly, tshi.

This convenience store owner just bought the store a couple of years ago but I have established good working relationship with him. No offense intended to the folks who purchase Lotto Max and/or lottery scratch cards but the amount I have been spending/cashing at his store (so that he can earn some commissions) for ProLine/Props tickets far outweigh those folks. Probably the same for other (ProLine) players who frequent his store as well.

Definitely murky waters coming up, hopefully there will still be opportunities for us in the days ahead.

Thanks for update Bang

I have heard similar Bang. Further word of old slips being completely gone and pools being unlimited wagering .I was told OLG representative was unable to answer if the vig would be the same as she did not understand the question. I also printing out the notification from news section on the terminal last Sunday which u likey have read but I will post below.

For the stores losing sales think about the impact the pools will have if they go unlimited. Large pools players are more then likey not working in cash or prefer not to. Give them unlimited spending and large transactions at petro or whatever make the only sense. This covers them with credit card insurance while earning rewards while not having to deal in cash. Currently the corner stores are the ones pushing over the limits not Gas stations. I am not implying OLG should consider this but just saying.
Expected value with pools is not easily estimated and these changes and future changes along with shrinkage of dead money are adding to that.

Thanks richhhh.

I found a document at this link https://about.olg.ca/wp-content/uploads ... -Sheet.pdf today.
I did not know what the password was until seeing that picture!
It is a pdf for the retailer about the new PROLINE and has a lot of additional info.
