Re: ProlinePlayer.com update
We all remember this sheet, at least those old enough. 4-pages so will do two at a time.

Re: ProlinePlayer.com update
Was fun while it lasted.
The HKS combos and soccer T-U were the most lucrative.
I and another poster were banging away at those correlated soccer plays for a few months with no LLe's before others caught on. Thanks PLP for not lighting them up with gold stars.
Short story.
At some point the cumulative profits were so large so I visited a tax lawyer as I became concerned about unreported earnings. I knew of the Leblanc case that was brought before the tax court of Canada but I wanted to make sure I was on solid ground in case the CRA came a knocking.
Sitting in a board room with two tight assed lawyers and having to explain a point spread was hilarious. When I showed them what I had won over the years they remained stone faced. No idea what they were thinking.
$15,000 in legal fees later they gave me my their opinion that my winnings were non taxable.
Another funny incident was with a branch manager at RBC. They saw all the cash deposits going through my account and sent me a letter asking me to come in and explain the source of the funds. I was up front and told them the truth. They asked for proof so I came in at a later date with a few boxes of slips from the stores that are generated when a ticket is cashed at the store that shows the winning amount, which I've always kept in the event of a CRA audit.
They still closed my account.
I haven't played much over the last few years, choosing to get up when I want instead of rising at 7 every morning to check the site. I'm 56 and my time is more valuable than anything these days. I'd been playing since 2005 and 15 years at anything eventually one loses interest.
I still play the NFL pools pretty big and am up nicely overall but this year was a small loss. I think even that may not be viable anymore as more big money seems to have crept in. Payouts aren't what they used to be.
Thanks to PLP for all the resources and to Matty for helping me with software that took my profits to another level.
Good luck to everyone wherever life takes you.

Hey boys. Crazy run.
Soccer TU was amazing. 78% of ties are 0-0 or 1-1 so getting 1.7-1.8 on it was awesome.
HKS was still my fave. Especially when they offered 2 players on same team - lecav/st Louis or Crosby/Malkin AND the team. 3 team parlay and the players were on same line and PP.
