Re: cashing tickets
My suggestion for cashing out is stick with stores.
You would be shocked at how much cash some of these small places actually have on hand. Friday afternoons is best. Look for convenience stores in large office buildings. I have regularly used these - they may have as much as $5000 on hand which they are overjoyed to get rid of. Also kiosks in malls are excellent. Introduce yourself to them and tell them you'll call in the morning to let them know you're coming. By 4:00 o'clock you could pick up in 10-20K range.
Now what to do with all this money after is another story.

Word of advice for those cashing out, don't poo in your own backyard.
Interpretation: don't cash your ticket stash where you regularly play your games.

Not sure what you mean? I have always cashed tickets where I play. And also the Race Track is not on my play spots (too far out of the way. Only used for cashing which they are more than happy to do.

I know what Red is talking about . Cashing large amounts of tickets at once causes heat to stores many times the phone call from OLG to stores is after cashing piles of tickets at once. I have a store who knows the rules and always followed them but received a phone call from OLG being accused of breaching the limits after some large cashing of my tickets. This was a couple years ago and to this day the store will cash my tickets but refuses to sell me any proline . Most recently OLG has been threatening to remove sports betting from machines and claiming they know whats going on with cashing 1k in tickets then running $900 in slips slowly throughout the day.

Good luck cashing your tickets and bringing little attention to the banks or your stores. I maybe just do not have as many as you or not in such a rush to cash. I protect my tickets from fire or theft and using BMO for suspicious transactions currently . Stay away from RBC they are monsterstickets2cash wrote: ↑Sat Feb 05, 2022 9:27 pmit's a now problem, i kept enough cash/tickets on hand to endure losing streaks, now i have no need for this cash stockpile

OLG will get you paid in full if they are your tics.
I usually waited 6 months then cashed $100k+ from OLG the big tics. Not an issue even if 5 $100 Tixs from same store in an hour however retailers can be reprimanded.
If you have $25k in cash Tixs go to woodbine lottery machine. In it’s prime pre covid it would pay you out in 5 minutes then a security guard walks you to the car.

i have no problem cashing tickets anywhere, my issue is I want CHECKS, I don't want to make cash deposits with banks they are too annoying, i've been banned from TD for simply depositing too much cash
I called ottawa, they said they will not issue checks for proline

Did you try the race track / casino? They used to be happy to issue a check.tickets2cash wrote: ↑Sun Feb 06, 2022 12:00 pmi have no problem cashing tickets anywhere, my issue is I want CHECKS, I don't want to make cash deposits with banks they are too annoying, i've been banned from TD for simply depositing too much cash
