Cappersmall Sept 18, 2023 Monday night football

Happy Monday!

Playing NFL point spread 5 gamers with parlay insurance.

I've been searching for some good ideas for that good old 5 gamer point spread, and may have come across a new home for it.
Originally, I've been playing with Bet 365 and Bet99 for their extra % in parlay bonuses. but the problem is still the same, mathematically, it's tough to hit 5 gamers, as the average would hit 4/7 or 5/7 if you're lucky.

Now welcome to a new sportsbook, Fanduel! Very nice sportsbook and with a good welcome bonus.
of interest:

Playing NFL point spread 5 gamers with parlay insurance.

Parlay insurance rules:
1 place a 5+ leg parlay wager on any event. Same game parlays are not eligible.
2 each leg must have a minimum of -200 odds.
3 if exactly 1 leg of your bet loses get a refund in Cash. Max refund is $25 per day.
4 refund iwill be credited with 72 hours of bet settlement
5) refund will be issued as cash.

ineglibible bets
1 sgp's
2 odds boosts
3 cashed out bet
4 in-play wagers, round robin wagers, straight wagers or future wagers.

What to do? play 5/7 parlays on PointSpread in Fanduel to get parlay insurance.
0) where do you get parlay picks? Grab them from unabated to confirm +ev or not.
1) It's Important to not round robin them (as this will negate it as an ineligible bet), besides, you only need to do 21 bets.
Use mathisfun.com to get your entire round robin plays.
2) Also important is to make sure not all parlays are on the same day, as the most you get in your refund is $25 per day.
if you play $1 5 gamers, you're fine as the total combination is $1, but if you're playing $2-$5 per parlay you may not get the full refund.
(i find the maximum rebate for 2 days (i.e. sunday and Monday games) is $2 so you'll be spending 21 X $2 = $42 total). I suspect you can go $3 if you can grab a parlay for Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

once done on average you will hit 4/7, or even 5/7 with some rebates to even out your results.
I will post Picks Thursday and Sunday when time permits and go from there.

Fanduel is a good book for many reasons, here are some of the following benefits:....

$5 no sweat SGP promos

-all new customers get $25 casino bonus
-Wednesday $5 MLb no sweat SGP promo. Get a bonus of $5 if your bet loses. don't forget to optin first before playing!
-Thursday Night $5 Thursday night football no sweat SGP promo (same as Wednesday but for NFL).
-$25 back each day Parlay insurance (see above posting).
-Friday: OPtin Friday to receive a $5 casino bonus.

for the SGP, if you're not familiar with what picks to use, some ideas include Bo Bichette with 1 homerun can be parlayed with RBI and hits as they all correlate anyways.
Or if you like low scoring games, you can at the first inning NRFI as two separate parlays (top inning No runs and bottom inning no runs), and add hits to who ever you like (i.e. top inning NR, bottom inning NR, Chapman 1 hit).

PS If you want a reference bonus, let me know and I"ll hook you up!

Thanks for the detailed info on FD, red!

At this point, I don't have any interest in that book (or any other online book, including OLG ProLine+, for that matter) but hopefully your info will be beneficial for the fellas who want to dabble!

Can you please comment on FD's rule about Baseball players not in the lineup? I believe they will grade that (rather than void like most books, including OLG) but they will only grade the Over and not the Under, which does not give the players any edge whatsoever because pinch hitters will not record a hit way more often than getting one.

Good luck everyone, I haven't visited here in a long time. Very tough going with NFL so have low expectations these days.

Bang,

FanDuel has a different approach to handling MLB baseball hitters.
Simply put, only the Overs are offered. This means when you play players who are not in the line up but
do end up pinch hitting, there is a high chance he won't hit, and your Over is as good as dead.
This is a subtle, but radical way to deal with mlb prop hitters.
In essence, it's reverse-Uno'ed for the Book to take advantage, not the player.

Thanks for the clarifications on that hitter not in the lineup angle, red!

Quite a few injuries in the NFL games today (both Jamaal Williams and Nick Chubb are OUT, the latter with apparently a very gruesome injury so thoughts and prayers are with him, his fam and team mates).

This apparently busted quite a few boosts/super boosts. As discussed on Twitter, I am not a big fan of those boosts, red, for the simple reason they *lock you in* with those plays and you don't have a chance to play your own +EV parlays, like what we did with the old platform.

I also feel these boosts tend to focus on the popular plays/players (Tyreek Hill Over a certain amount of receiving yards, for example) to suck the Joe Public in. Past performance does not guarantee nor predict future outcomes so this stuff is not for me but good luck with your plays!
