Yep, you are right. Not many gift card promos any more. I loaded up on the ones from a few weeks ago at sobeys. Scene points. Can use on expedia any many restaurants. Already booked flights out eaSt and flights to Vegas for betbash. Last September they had Canadian tire Promo $15 CTM for every 100. hopefully they do it again this year. Perfect timing for the fall season

I hope they will continue to allow us to redeem ProLine points for gift cards, preferably for a wider variety of retailers, and not just what is available right now!

I have suggested to them numerous times on Twitter to consider offering more retailers for gift card redemptions, as another way to lure players back into the stores, but it looks like my suggestions have fallen on deaf ears...

I have no interest in using my points for contests or prizes, because that's just another type of lottery at the end of the day.

I have a bad feeling the gift cards are done. Hopefully not. They say all points expire on August 31st. I agree, the contests are garbage.

I wonder if the employee who first came up with the idea of basically offering 16% back in gift cards ever got fired? I knew the second that promo started it wouldn't last long. The incompetence at all levels of OLG employees is astounding.

How are you finding it out east Ricky? Their website is pretty slim, not many choices. They do have some interesting golf props, like grouping players by race and country lol. Did you find any good edges with ALC?

Believe it or not things are worse out there. I only placed a few wagers. First of all, each store has a hard cap of $100 per outcome. I even tried switching bar codes, Changing amount of wager etc.. No deal. The terminal just kept saying max wgaer amount allowed. So i crossed the street and placed another $100 wager at a petro station. Went to a 3rd location 1 minute later. The odds changed..... This happened on each of the 2 occasions I went to palce a bet. looks like things are tightening up everywhere. Online, OLG, ALC etc... Frustrating

that sounds tough, they must have pretty low limit out there. What sports were you betting there? It seems their selection of sports is very limited.

Folks, I am heading to Winnipeg for a vacation. Any players out there on this site? I fondly remember having a monster cash day playing March Madness about 11/12 years ago

Hey pacer, if you are on Twitter (or X now lol), you can connect with mlansky. His Twitter handle there is mlansky5.

He is based in Manitoba and used to be a very active poster on this forum. I have recently re-connected with him on X and he can provide some intel.

Have a great vacay!

Pacer, I had a look at WCLC website and tbh it looks pathetic lol. Really not much selection and the odds are terrible. How did u end up with a big payday back then if you don't mind me asking?

A couple of golf bets. MLB was on all star break.

I tried using the new OLG self serve lottery machine at a grocery store near me. No Proline offered. That's a bummer. OLG says ID scanner is only used to verify age and ID info is not stored. Should we believe them :) Hope they add proline to the self serve at some point. Not holding my breath :)
